10) Hay un tema que preocupa mucho: la violencia en los
campos de fútbol y los alrededores.
Recordemos el incidente acaecido en el partido de vuelta
de la Copa de su majestad el Rey, entre el Betis y el Sevilla en el campo de
fútbol del Benito Villamarín. Partido que el árbitro tuvo que suspender por el
lanzamiento de objetos al terreno del juego, impactando uno de ellos en el
entrenador del Sevilla que cayó desplomado al suelo. ¿Qué opinión le merecen
este tipo de hechos? y ¿qué se puede hacer, qué medidas tomar?
Entrevistado Juande Ramos (entrenador del Sevilla en
aquella eliminatoria) dijo: “todos somos responsables”.
Una cosa quiero dejar muy clara: el fútbol no genera
violencia. La violencia la lleva puesta el espectador desde su casa de la cual
sale enfadado con su cónyuge o con el jefe, preocupado por su empresa o
envenenado por el entorno. También influyen los directivos con ciertas
declaraciones, pareciendo a veces fanáticos despreciando al vecino, o algunos
jugadores endiosados, y la prensa aumentando los titulares con frases
grandilocuentes. Los violentos van al fútbol, al cine, al trabajo, pero el
fútbol no genera violencia. Es decir “todos somos responsables”. La
intolerancia fue el mal del siglo XX, donde nadie toleró a nadie, y en lo que
llevamos de siglo XXI…
El fútbol es un hermoso baile, un dibujo animado hecho
realidad, fantasía en acción, táctica y estrategia dentro de los límites del
juego, la posibilidad de competir: que el más grande pueda perder sin ser
humillado y el más pequeño volver a ganar sin dejar, por ello, de crecer. El
fútbol es poesía, articulación de lo imposible sobre un verde manto, cuerpos en
las gradas como oleaje al unísono en el giro del balón, los colores del club
pintados en el rostro, efímera belleza y eterna puntuación, una producción
humana, la voz humana gritando: gol. (Continuará…)

10) There is an issue of great
concern: violence in football fields and the surroundings.
Let’s remember the incident in
the second leg of His Majesty the King’s Cup between Betis and Seville at
Villamarín Benito’s stadium. It was a Match which the referee had to stop the game
due to objects which were thrown into the football field and one of it hit the Seville’s
coach who collapsed on the ground. What do you think about this type of event? And what
can we do what steps to take?
Interviewing Juande Ramos (Seville’s
coach in that qualifying round) said: "we are all responsible."
One thing I want to make clear:
football does not generate violence. Some spectators have the violence inside
themselves from the moment they leave their homes or people who are already
angry with any family member or boss or worried from their jobs or being poisoned
by the environment. Violence also influences by managers doing some statements, even
they sometimes seem as obsessed fans who despise their neighbors, some idolized
players, and media increasing headlines with grandiloquent phrases. Aggressive people go to the matches but they also go to the theatre,
they have jobs so football does not generate violence which means everybody is
responsible. The intolerance was the evil of the XX century; no one tolerated
anybody and so far in the current XXI century.
Football is a beautiful dance, a cartoon come true,
fantasy in action, tactics and strategy within the limits of the game, the
possibility to compete: that the greatest can lose without being humiliated and
the smallest can win again and to continue growing. Football is poetry,
articulating the impossible on a green blanket, bodies in the stands as a wave
in unison rotating around the ball, the club's colors painted on their faces,
fleeting beauty but with eternal score, a human production and the human voice
shouting: goal.(To be continued…)
