41)  Could an athlete get injured by having a mood problem since he does not like his profession and because he trains inadequately or by not getting along with his colleagues, technicians or with his family?

In the neuromuscular dysfunction there are several factors intervening: histochemistry, metabolic or genetic disorders, asking the muscle beyond their possibilities which can lead to injury. But along with these causes and predisposing factors, there are others such as: lack of training, situations of overstrain, centre of infection, lack of warm up and something that catches the eye which is called lack of "sporting hygiene", extensive chapter where we can range from the lack of appropriate clothing and footwear to psychological problems, poor hydration, nutrition, and what is called in sporting medicine "Invisible Training", we can think  that some athletes train to get injured. The injury is produced, is constructed, it does not appear spontaneously, neither health is natural. Everything involves an etipatogénico process. All injury has a complex mechanism in the disease process.

Obviously no one recognizes it and accepts it like this, this is something unconscious, but we know that in all disease there  is a secondary benefit, the disease itself, , a person is benefited in something when is injured, some blame is expiated, something is postponed, I harm someone, some responsibility is cushioned, some heartbreak is dissolved, it is not a causality when we say, "every cloud has a silver lining"

The individual is always involved in what happens to him, and sometimes an injury is the lesser evil compared to a situation of mental stress. It is the best way to resolve a conflict. The psyche is always involved in the process of the injury: sometimes in the aetiology, others in the process of the disease and the most important.
