POESÍA Y FÚTBOL
Me preguntan
sobre la capacidad mental de la selección española para levantarse de este
trance y sobre todo por la figura de Casillas, tan cuestionado últimamente.
Espero ser
tan claro como conciso: la capacidad mental de la selección española se
encuentra intacta. Tan intacta como lo permite el mecanismo psíquico de
Sustitución. Sabemos que toda victoria es tan grupal como la derrota.
Debemos pues atender
en cada integrante de la selección española (me refiero no sólo a jugadores y
cuerpo técnico, los directivos, prensa y aficionados son también producciones
del proyecto deportivo) el estado de ánimo de toda la delegación para potenciar
ese concepto grupal que hace equipo. Sabemos que el grupo es el alma del equipo
y, el equipo es el cuerpo de la selección española y, la selección es lo social
de un pueblo.
Hay 32
candidatos al campeonato y no sólo cuatro o cinco favoritos entre los que se
incluye a España. Somos candidatos, es decir podemos jugar “como una primera
vez” y podemos “reemplazar lo insustituible”. El mecanismo de Sustitución habla
de salud deportiva, salud mental, salud física, salud….
Así cómo
pensar que la columna vertebral de la selección está vieja, cansada, saturada
de éxito o un poco artrósica nos puede llevar a elucubrar que: Casillas es
mejor en la portería si estuviese Valdez en el banquillo, o que la ausencia de
Puyol es capital en defensa o pedirle a Xavi que juegue como Pirlo cuando hace
más kilómetros que él en cada partido, podríamos entonces también elucubrar que
los gobernantes del mundial 2010 cuidaban el fútbol como cultura y los actuales
lo hacen como economía. Pero más allá de la falta de pruebas que ensordece a
todo tribunal deportivo, más allá de la temperatura, la mala suerte, del si
hubiese entrado la de Silva…, más allá de todo eso se puede argumentar que la
capacidad mental del equipo español está intacta. Podemos ser campeones o
perder con Chile y, también puede Australia ganarle a la Holanda que ya dio su
vuelta de honor en un mundial.
Y
se puede argumentar desde la científica poesía. Sabemos que la historia la
escriben los vencedores; si la escribiesen los vencidos del mundial siempre es
otro el cuento. Y entonces ¿la verdad de los pueblos donde se puede leer?
Rescaten a los poetas, ellos les dirán por ejemplo: “Niños del mundo, si cae
España –digo, es un decir- si la madre España cae, salid, niños del mundo; íd a
buscarla.” (Vallejo) o “Si te postran
diez veces, te levantas otras diez, otras cien, otras quinientas…” (Almafuerte)
o “Papagayo verde, lorito real, dí tú lo que sabes al sol que se va” (Machado) o
“A los pobres nos pasa todo en nuestro cuerpo. Morimos jóvenes o, nos
endurecemos” (Menassa). La poesía anticipa la realidad que podemos leer, es un
arma cargada de futuro y en España hay poesía, hay fútbol, hay psicoanálisis y
hay flamenco. Hemos conseguido que los estadios brasileños coreen el olé, olé y
olé.
Entonces si
no hay deterioro mental, es una DECISIÓN lo que está en juego, la decisión de
todo un pueblo. Después de cinco mundiales con campeón en lengua castellana
(dos veces Uruguay, dos Argentina y una España) y cinco en lengua portuguesa
(las cinco Brasil) puede darse un desempate en el 2014.
Toda una
lengua puede decidir quién será su próximo monarca y la decisión es
inconsciente, es decir, intervienen en la toma de toda decisión una triple
articulación de mecanismos: psíquico-sociales, político-económicos e
histórico-deportivos, de los que hemos dado alguna pincelada.
También es
cierto que el duelo de la selección española por la ausencia de don Luis
Aragonés, está presente inconscientemente en todos y esta tristeza por el padre de la Roja, se reflejaba en el
rostro de algunos jugadores antes del partido con Holanda. Tal vez, de ahí
viene la frase de don Vicente del Bosque: “Estábamos jugando bien, pero al
empatarnos, antes de descanso, nos deprimimos y ellos se pusieron eufóricos”.
Es decir ya estábamos un poco deprimidos antes del partido, ya se habían
cometido algunos lapsus en plena concentración, ya se hicieron chistes después
del partido con Holanda.
Para concluir
decir que lo más importante no es el bofetón recibido, lo determinante es cómo
utilizamos la derrota, qué hacemos: nos levantamos y jugamos al fútbol más allá
del resultado o nos vamos de vacaciones después de seis años seguidos de
triunfos.
In conclusion, let’s say that the most important thing
is not the slap received, what matters is how we use the defeat. What we do
now: we get up and play football in spite of the results or we go on vacation
after six years of victories.

POETRY AND FOOTBALL
They ask me about the mental capacity of the Spanish
Selection for recovering from this difficulty and, moreover, about the leading
figure of Casillas, as he has lately been questioned.
I hope to be as clear as concise: the mental capacity
of the Spanish Selection is intact. So intact as the Replacing psychic mechanism allows.
We know that all victories are because of the group as the defeats are as well.
So we must tend to each member of the Spanish
Selection (I refer not only to the football players and coaching staff, but
also the directors, press and fans who are part of the sporting project as
well), the mental state of all the delegation for strengthening that group
concept, which makes a team. We know that the group is the soul of the team,
which is the body of the Spanish Selection, and the Spanish Selection is the
people.
There are 32 candidates in the championship and its
not only four or five favorites among them, including Spain. We are candidates,
meaning we can play “like it is the first time “and we can “replace the
irreplaceable”. The mechanism of Substitution speaks of sporting health, mental
health, physical health, health…
To think that the backbone of the selection is old,
tired, saturated of success or a little arthritic can lead us to the conclusion
that: Casilla would be better in the goal if Valdez were on the bench, or that
the absence of Pujol is critical on defensive, or asking Xavi to play as Pirlo
when Pirlo runs more kilometers than him in each match, then we could conclude
as well that the governors from the 2010 World Cup used to take care of
football as a cultural phenomenon and the actual government does it in an
economic way. Beyond that lack of proof that deafens all Sporting Tribunals,
beyond the temperature, the bad luck, that if Silva had made a goal…, beyond
all this it can be argued that the mental capacity of the Spanish team is
intact. We can be champions or lose to Chile and, also, Australia can beat
Holland who already made their victory lap in a World Cup.
And it can be argued from the scientific poetry
perspective. We know that history is written by the victors, if it were written
by the defeated of the World Cup, it would always be another tale. So, where
can the truth of the nations be read? Revive the poets, they will tell you for
example: “Children of the world, if Spain falls- I say, this saying- if mother
Spain falls, leave, children of the world, go to look for her” (Vallejo) or “If
you fall to your knees ten times, stand up another ten times, another one
hundred, another five hundred…” (Strong soul) or “Green parrot, royal parrot,
say what you know to the sun who leaves” (Machado) or, “To the poor, everything
happens in our body. We die young, or we endure.” (Menassa). The poetry
anticipates the reality that we can read, it is a weapon loaded by future and
in Spain there is poetry, there is football, there is psychoanalysis and there
is flamenco. We have even got that in the Brazilian stadiums where people shout
out olé, olé y olé.
Then if there is not mental deterioration, it is a
DECISION that is at play, the decision of the entire nation. After five Word
Cups with champions who speak the Castilian language (twice Uruguay, twice
Argentina and once Spain) and five in Portuguese (the five times Brazil won) there may be a playoff in
2014.
All language can decide who will be its next monarch
and the decision is unconscious, that is,
all languages participate in the making of any decision, a triple
articulation mechanism: psycho-social, political-economic, and
historical-sporting, of which we have already brushed upon.
It is also true that the Spanish Selection’s mourning
for the absence of Don Luis Aragonés is unconsciously present in everyone. This
sadness for the father of La Roja was reflected in the face of some
players before the match with Holland. Perhaps this inspired the quote of Don
Vicente del Bosque: “We were playing well, but when they tied us before the break,
we got depressed and they got euphoric”. That is, we were already a little bit
depressed before the match, some
lapses of concentration had already been made in the moment, plus jokes were
already made after the match with Holland.
In conclusion, let’s say that the most important thing
is not the slap received, what matters is how we use the defeat. What we do
now: we get up and play football in spite of the results or we go on vacation
after six years of victories.
